Filter Performance Testing

Selecting the right filter media for your application often involves finding a happy compromise between conflicting criteria.

For example, you might need to filter very fine particles, but at the same time want a high flow rate, in a filter that fits within available space constraints.

Most times, we can suggest a suitable filter fabric using existing technical performance data, our knowledge and experience.

But sometimes this isn’t enough – for example if the operating pressures in your application are far from standard.

In these cases we can often help with testing filter media to your specific requirements, using appropriate test methods, either in-house or at external partner laboratories.  Some typical tests include:

  • Filter Challenge Tests
  • Air & Water Flow Rate
  • Pressure Drop
  • Bubble Point
  • Pore Size
